In today’s struggling economy, refugee and immigrant youth face an uphill battle: lost jobs, low wages, and heavy family responsibilities leave little time for academics or passions. At Grind Set Lab, we’re changing that story. We equip youth with the skills, ideas, and tools to launch their own businesses, empowering them to earn income on their own time, excel in school, pursue extracurriculars they love, and support their families with dignity and confidence.

Java Programming workshop at the McLean Community center was a huge success. There was a very good turnout. The students asked very good questions. We covered a lot of basics of Java Programming. Our next workshop will work on intermediate level Java.

June, 25 , 2022: Mustafa Farhan conducted a STEM workshop at an institute that works with immigrant east African youth.
There were 20 kids with ages ranging from 8 years to 11 years. The kids put together a solar panel car. They assembled the gears and chasIs and attached the solar panel.
